The Cure for
Social Media Addiction
"Fill your free time with timeless classics,
not endless scrolling"
A Note from the Maker
I built this because I needed it.
I found that simply deleting Instagram or blocking TikTok wasn't enough. My brain would still reach for the phone during those tiny gaps in the day—waiting for coffee, commuting, or those five minutes before bed—and when the usual apps were gone, it just sought out the next easiest distraction: YouTube, Netflix, or anything that offered an endless scroll.
I wanted something that could fill those "voids" with something better than a dopamine hit. Something timeless.
"Just as we need a gym for the body, we need a gym for the mind.
So, I made the ultimate gym for the mind."
Library of All is my lifetime project.
Since I build this in my spare time, the development pace might fluctuate. Some weeks I'll ship ten features, and some months I might just be reading along with you. But it's here to stay, and it will always be free reading public domain books.
Built with intention,

The Dopamine Vacuum
When we block distractions, time doesn't just return to us. It leaves a void.
The real challenge isn't just stopping the scroll. Even if we block our most addictive apps, our minds instinctively seek out the next easiest path—finding another platform or another way to continue the endless cycle.
In those tiny 5-minute gaps, the "friction" of starting something meaningful feels too high. We naturally gravitate toward whatever requires the least amount of effort.
"We don't just need to stop scrolling; we need a way to fill these moments with substance, without the struggle of starting."
The Friction Trap
- !
5 minutes waiting? A heavy book feels like "too much work."
- !
A quick break? The scroll is easy; focus is hard.

Common Questions
Because they've stood the test of time. In a world of fleeting trends, there's something grounding about reading words that have mattered to people for centuries.
Not necessarily. We often think of classics as heavy or purely "educational," but many are first and foremost great stories. Works like Sherlock Holmes (the pioneer of modern detective fiction), The Count of Monte Cristo (the blueprint for all revenge stories), or Pride and Prejudice are pure entertainment. They don't all carry a heavy burden of "grand lessons"—they're just timelessly engaging.
Yes. The books are in the public domain, so they belong to everyone. I just built a better way to read them.
While our collection is currently small, I am actively updating it with new titles. If there's a specific public domain masterpiece you'd like to see, please let me know. I prioritize requests from readers and upload them sequentially. My current goal is to add at least 3 new books every week.
This is currently a side project, and I'll be introducing a membership subscription soon to help cover server costs and ongoing development. However, reading public domain books will always be free.
Absolutely. Our platform is designed to be mobile-first, so you can replace those "scrolling moments" wherever you are.
